This week I was approached by Farfetch if I was interested to share my take on the biggest trends for Spring/Summer 2016 with style the trend. I’ve said it before but I’m not much of a trend person but some of the trends this year are very TheChicItalian style-wise so I figured this was a cool way to show you guys how I would style my favorite trend of the season: pyjama and boudoir.

If you follow my blog you know that one of my favorite items from my own collection is my Equipment pyjama style silk shirt with snake print. I just love the look of the contrasted trim and the luxurious feel of the silk. It’s an acceptable way to wear your PJs outside of the house really. Super comfortable and incredible chic.

That’s why I love the pyjama and boudoir trend; it looks luxurious and chic while you’re wearing the most comfortable items. But this trend doesn’t just stop at silky blouses, it also includes easily to slip on slip dresses and lace. I love a good pyjama set but I also love to add the trend to my daily wear. Subtle ways to incorporate the pyjama and boudoir trend could be to wear a lace bralette or body underneath a lightweight knit this Spring, combine your pyjama style blouse with shorts or style a lace or slik dress with your favorite sandals for a late night dinner this Summer. It’s really an easy trend to mix in with your daily wear to add a little chicness to your look.

To give you an idea how I would style the pyjama and boudoir trend I collected all my favorite items from Farfetch below! If you aren’t familiar with Farfetch, it’s an online webshop filled with the best items from the biggest brands like Dolce & Gabbana, Chloé, Isabel Marant & more. Even if the items aren’t in your budget it’s always fun to window shop or take inspiration from their editorials. Here is how I would style the trend:
